Abby West is a Licensed Independent Social Worker who graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a master's Degree in social work. Prior to that, Abby graduated from Miami University with a bachelor's degree in social work and an associates of arts with a social science focus. In her undergraduate internship, Abby worked for an organization that provides support and respite to caregivers of children with developmental and intellectual disabilities. In her graduate internship, Abby worked at Butler Behavioral Health Services, a community mental health agency, and worked with a variety of clients of different ages and backgrounds. 

Abby enjoys working with students of all ages and uses both non-directive and directive play therapy techniques. Abby also finds value in working with students on mindfulness and using strengths-based strategies to bring about meaningful, positive change. In her time away from work, she enjoys listening to music, spending time outdoors, going to concerts, hanging out with friends and family, and relaxing with her three cats.
